THE
WORLD TOUR COMES TO LA
OCTOBER 19, 2004 . . . THE EGYPTIAN THEATRE . . .
The Short Shorts Film Festival in Los Angeles screened
11 films, including 6 U.S. premieres from Japan, Hungary, France,
and S. Korea, at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, CA on October
19, 2004.
The films were selected from the 60 that screened in Japan this
summer and included award-winning drama, documentary, comedy and
animation.
Congratulations to the Short Shorts in Los Angeles Fujifilm Award

Submissions
are currently being accepted for a special film event programmed
by the Short Shorts Film Festival for EXPO
2005, the world’s fair in Japan.
Submissions for the 7th annual Short Shorts Film Festival are now
closed. Thank you to all who submitted. Filmmakers will be notified
in early 2005.
Short Shorts is now recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture
Arts and Sciences as a qualifying festival for the Short Films category
for the Annual Academy Awards®.
